Creative Review - The Mirror's online footy archive
For the launch of mirrorfootball.co.uk, which includes an archive of The Mirror's football photography, Delaney Lund Knox Warren has created a series of 48 sheet posters using some classic images of players from ten UK teams...
While The Mirror's digital archive could certainly do with some tweaks – the navigation can take the user round in circles, detailed captions cover the bottom of each picture – the photographs themselves convey some memorable moments from football's past.
Each poster created for the campaign by DLKW has been tailored to one of ten UK teams and will be positioned near the relevant football ground.

Recycled Skateboard Stools Transform Thrashed Boards to Treasure

Inspired by the way that skateboards consistently break, designer and craftsman Jason Podlaski hand selects broken board parts, and builds every stool in his Pennsylvania factory. A unique aspect of the design is that the cast aluminum trucks, which connect the deck to the wheels, are repurposed as hardware that joins the seat to the legs of the Deckstool. If you are in the Philadelphia area this weekend, you can see the stools and other recycled skateboard creations on display at VGroove Studios.
