The Wall Project Mumbai India - inxus

THE WALL PROJECT that invites Mumbaikers to express themselves in colour on the city’s walls. The Project has been undertaken at several other locations before. This Independence day (15th and 16th of August, actually), the project asks people to paint the wall running along Tulsi Pipe Road from Mahim to Dadar.

CANVAS
- look for an arrow indicating the start point on the Walls of Tulsi Pipe Road, (closer to Mahim(West) Railway station) And we could begin painting in that direction.

31 Gorgeous Contemporary Abstract Paintings by Mario Martinez | Presidia Creative

Mario Martinez is a contemporary native painter and a Yaqui Indian from Penjamo, the smallest of six Yaqui settlements, in Arizona. He is a member of The Pasqua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona. After an early art career in San Francisco, he moved to New York City in 2002. He received his bachelor’s degree from School of Art, Arizona State University in Tempe and his master’s of fine arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute.
Today, it’s my pleasure to feature 31 gorgeous contemporary abstract paintings by Mario. Each work almost has a vector style feel, and I would consider these images difficult if they were done in Illustrator…the fact that they are painted makes them absolutely incredible. You can feel Mario’s Native American influences in his work as well.
