Car artworks are transformed by designers in two ways in a digital model. First is by airbrushing and painting it in Photoshop and the other one is by making of it a 3D model in one of the specific programs(3Ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Lightwave 3D, Maya etc). This article with beautiful 3D art will be an interesting feature for the CG artists that work with the previously mentioned programs because they have in one place the inspirational work for their future car designs. For others, it’s an easy way to see cool 3D graphics, marvelous pictures which some of you would like on their desktop. Hold your horses, I’ll publish some 3D wallpapers soon. In the end of this short description, I’m welcoming you to gaze at these great pictures of concept cars. MORE AT SOURCE: http://www.designyourway.net/blog/3d/beautiful-3d-concept-cars/

I have been researching for a personal project I am working on in characted design. While I was surfing on Behance I stumbled on the Johnathan Ball's profile, a digital artists from Newport, UK. I was really impressed by the quality of Jonathan's work. The 3D characters are very funny and well done. Also he has done work for big clients such as MTV, BBC, Sony, BBC and others. Vanila Barcelona or Vanila BCN is the design studio of two very talented graphic designers from Spain, Carlos Jimenez and Roger Gual. They met when they were studying graphic design at Elisava Design School and they have been working together since them. From his clients we can tell that it's been working pretty well so far, especially for the type of work with beautiful typographies with that hand drawing feel. Over 100,000 thumbtacks were used over 351 hours to create this typographic mural that spells out Fail Harder, a message that underlines the importance of failure during the creative process. Absolutely fantastic. I would love to do something similar in my studio! Hat tip!
