Most people have the impression that graffiti was started by young vandals trying to “make a statement”, however graffiti has been known to go as far back as 30 000BC. The Ancient Romans and Ancient Greeks, used to scribble on their walls, descriptions of their current day events. With pointless scribbles of “crew” names being tainted all over cities, it’s not surprising that for a long while graffiti had such a negative connotation associated with it.
